We are seeking a Head Chef with drive, passion and ambition still burning in the belly to take over a well established and structured kitchen operation. With a brigade of 15 + 3 apprentice chefs, we need a natural leader, mentor and culinary professional. As Head Chef you will take command of the kitchen operations and guide the team forward. With an outstanding reputation and loyal following within the community, we seek a professional to build on this success.
FRESH and LOCAL is the key..so much that we make our sauces, grown our own produce (where ever possible) and change the menu seasonally. The ideal person will be someone that has sound knowledge of food cost, wage cost, product/supplier knowledge, staff training & quality control. Many of the systems and procedures are already in place - you just need to implement them. The owners of the business are very hands on and you will have all their support to achieve company goals.
