Located in one of New Zealand's most stunning alpine destinations, this 110-room, 4.5-star hotel has recently had a full refurbishment. This property experiences strong seasonal demand, with occupancy levels peaking from October through to May, creating a fast-paced and rewarding environment where no two days are ever quite the same.

About the Role As Reservations Manager, you will take ownership of the hotel's reservations function, ensuring room inventory is optimised, booking channels are managed effectively, and guests receive exceptional service from their first point of contact.

This role also includes some Front Office responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and understands the importance of creating a seamless guest journey.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage all reservations activity across multiple booking channels
• Maximise occupancy and revenue opportunities
• Monitor room inventory and allocation strategies
• Maintain strong relationships with travel trade and booking partners
• Assist with Front Office operations when required
• Ensure reservation systems and guest information are accurate and up to date
• Produce occupancy and forecasting reports
• Deliver exceptional guest service before, during, and after each stay

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Reservations Manager or Senior Reservations Supervisor - minimum 5 years
• Strong knowledge of hotel reservations systems and channel management
• Understanding of revenue principles and occupancy management
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and accurate during peak occupancy periods
• Experience within a quality hotel environment
• Front Office exposure highly advantageous
• A valid driver's licence and confidence driving in New Zealand conditions
