Reporting to the Director of HR, you will lead the day to day operations of the hotel from an HR perspective. There is a strong focus on performance management, assisting the HOD implementing brand initiatives, high volume recruitment and progression planning. Having a hotel background in hotel / hospitality would be advantageous but not essential.
We are looking for someone who is well organised in their approach to work and offers positive and structured thinking to support the hotel. You will also possess the qualities of integrity and discretion ensuring employee confidence and privacy is respected. You may be an experienced HR Manager from a hotel or hospitality business - it's all about the right attitude.
It is envisaged that the HR Manager will demonstrate a dynamic leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, train and develop staff whilst maintaining a strong culture by developing staff morale at all levels. If you have positive and committed approach to HR initiatives, comprehensive understanding of NZ legislation, not afraid of making the hard decisions.....what not give us a BUZZ.
