Ngāi Tahu Tourism hosts more than one million manuhiri (visitors) a year across our thirteen iconic businesses, with a fourteenth, the All Blacks Experience, due to open in 2020. Earth & Sky has an exciting new build on the way which will include a historic 125-year-old telescope, retail store, impressive restaurant and bar, plus an experience zone there couldn't be a better time to join!
With a spectacular site currently under development, it's now time to get culinary creations underway. As a key member of the management team, will you be starting with a blank canvas, applying a concept to implementing the overall menu, including key "signature " cuisine. Budgeting, menu costing, inventory management, staff recruitment, supplier arrangements, FCP, training and management - it's pretty clear you need to be a professional.
On offer is an amazing salary package, relocation assistance and many other benefits. Ngāi Tahu's connection to Māori and Ngāi Tahu culture, history and stories is an important part of the experience for our customers so an openness to learning basic te reo and tikanga is a must.
