Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal person will be someone that has sound knowledge of food cost, wage cost, product/supplier knowledge, staff training & quality control. The current menu is cranking and they are not looking for a chef to come in and change things - they want someone to "manage" the kitchen. Many of the proven systems & procedures are already in place - you just need to execute them.
The GM of the business is very hands on & you will have all their support to achieve company goals. The crew in the kitchen are young at heart so you need to be able to communicate with GEN Y. This is NOT an office based positions so if you want to sit behind the desk, this isn't for you.
