Job Description

The Kaiapoi Club has a proud history and has been at the heart of the community for generations.  The Club, which holds a Permanent Charter and is affiliated to Clubs New Zealand (Inc), offers a great range of dining, social, entertainment, conference facilities and sporting groups, right in the heart of Kaiapoi. We are looking for a high performing General Manager to ensure that all member expectations are met and to make the club BUZZ!

With current membership sitting at 4000, The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the club. Reporting directly to the Club President and having the ability to produce reports for the finance committee and board members on a weekly and monthly basis, this is an opportunity for an experienced professional that wants to be the face of the business.

Being "hands on" is the key. The ability to communicate with a diverse range of Club members, suppliers and internal Club employees is essential. You will also work closely with the outsourced Gym & Catering company for the premises. Understanding POS systems, Gaming, TAB, COS, while implementing cost saving initiatives and driving the team to achieve goals will get you the tick of approval from the Club President.

The ideal person will have HR, Sales and Marketing knowledge with a minimum 10 years supervisory experience. You will understand the definition of hospitality and how to deliver exceptional service. The ability to network within the local community, drive sales and deliver results will secure you this role.

This is the first time in over 20 years this opportunity has become available, so time to get your CV together and get BUZZing!
