With current membership sitting at 4000 +, The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the club. Reporting directly to the Club President and having the ability to produce reports for the finance committee and board members on a weekly and monthly basis. With the development plans well under way for a new multi-million dollar renovation, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional that wants to be the face of the business.
Being "hands on" is the key. The ability to communicate with a diverse range of Club members, suppliers and internal Club employees is essential. Understanding POS systems, Gaming, TAB, COS and a very busy bottle store are essential parts of the role. Implementing cost saving initiatives and driving the team to achieve goals will get you the tick of approval from the Club President.
The ideal person will have HR, Sales and Marketing & basic Accounting knowledge, with a minimum 10 years supervisory experience. You will understand the definition of hospitality and how to deliver exceptional service. The ability to network within the local community, drive sales and deliver results will secure you this role.
