- Actively sell rooms within the companies portfolio.
- Promote group packages that include accommodation, functions, food and beverage.
- Assist with growing market share in all revenue generating areas of the business. Maintain and grow existing corporate accounts, regular accounts and business relationships to strengthen and increase repeat business. Introducing new corporate clients to our database.
- Promote, negotiate, seek and confirm functions and events utilising venue spaces.
- Maintain database for contacts using both booking summary spread sheet and function sheets.
- Liaise with and communicate effectively all event information to food and beverage staff, this aspect of the job will be largely handed to the venue manager.
- Implement strategies to increase function revenue.
- Work with local public relations, charitable entities and sponsors to build all brands and profiles.
- Maximise sponsorship agreements. Networking opportunities and new database contacts.
