The GM is looking for a talented "hands on" chef, with a 5* restaurant profile, that can create an array of flavours and techniques to raise the profile of the food operation. We are looking for a leader to take control of the kitchen operations and drive success. Healthy, innovative and tasty food is what the consumers want, using fresh and local produce whilst taking dietary requirements into consideration. We are looking for someone to create a team, with a culture of pride in the kitchen.
The foundations are already in place, and you have a great brigade of chefs to deliver your vision. You will need to be a driven, committed and a resourceful Chef who has fantastic leadership skills to inspire and motivate your team. Writing menus, costings (including using a computer), training and creating company manuals will all be part of the job. I can't stress enough that this is a "HANDS ON" position.
