It goes without saying, this is a massive job. With a spectacular site currently under development, it's now time to get culinary creations underway. Uniquely to Christchurch, the Executive Chef is going to be the face of the business, an integral part of building the brand and the driving force of a new culinary trend in the city. Targeting high quality cuisine, amazing service and creating a new era in hospitality - it's soon to become reality!
As a key member of the management team, will you be starting with a blank canvas, applying a concept to implementing the overall menu, including key "signature "cuisine. Budgeting, menu costing, inventory management, staff recruitment, supplier arrangements, training and management - it's pretty clear you need to be a professional. The ideal Chef will have a solid career in stand alone, high profile restaurants, with a minimum of 2 years as Head Chef. Your past experience will reflect your commitment to your career and references will back this up.
If you feel like you can handle the joy, pain and frustrations of a pre opening, the highs, lows and roller coaster ride of getting there and the definition of a memorable dining experience - it's time to get BUZZing.
