- Be the 2IC in a Landmark Hotel Opening
- 150-Room, 4.5-Star Hotel in central Invercargill
- Act as GM in their absence and be a key voice in strategic planning.
This is a key 2IC role, supporting the General Manager across all facets of operations, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage, and strategic support across the Rooms Division.
As Executive Assistant Manager, you will:
- Lead and oversee all daily hotel operations, maintaining the highest guest service standards.
- Drive excellence across F&B outlets including restaurant, bar, conferencing/events, and in-room dining.
- Collaborate closely with Rooms Division teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Inspire, develop, and support department heads and their teams.
- Uphold brand standards and support commercial performance targets.
- Act as GM in their absence and be a key voice in strategic planning.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the hotel industry, with at least 3 years as a Food & Beverage Manager in a 4-star or higher property.
- Solid exposure to Rooms Division operations.
- Holds a General Manager’s Certificate (required).
- Permanent right to live and work in New Zealand – essential.
- Proven operational leadership, with a hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail.
- Strong communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
