This will be a challenging but rewarding opportunity for the ultimate service professional. You will be the face of the a la carte service, the point of contact for regular guest, corporates and functions. From your past experience you will know how a quality, intimate, vibrant and profitable restaurant venue can run seamlessly. This is a "HANDS ON" position that reports into the General Manager and the Manager on Duty.
A sound employment history with 3+ years gatro pub, offering a la carte restaurant experience in the hospitality industry is essential, preferably in a high volume / contemporary cuisine environment. Knowledge of New Zealand food wine is essential, a absolute obsession to deliver the best service known to man. This position is the next step into Restaurant Manager. Whilst a LCQ / GM Certificate would be advantages, it's not a prerequisite of this position.
This is a full time position, predominately evenings, with fixed days off (Tuesday / Wednesday) and the chance to be trained up on Duty Manager shift. Position available early November, just in time for Cup Week. As November - April is the busiest time of year, no annual leave will granted during this period.
