Job Description

We've been BUZZed to find an exceptional Conference & Events Manager, for a busy Christchurch property. Reporting to the F&B Manager, the C&E Manager will be an integral part of the food & beverage team. With full control and accountability for the C&E department, this will be a challenging but rewarding position...ready to get BUZZing?

This newly created position is the ideal blend of Conference Service and back office administration. As a  highly organised individual, you will be responsible for handling enquires, bookings and contracts for meetings, events, social functions and conferences. You will also get the put the conference packs together and represent the hotel at trade shows. 

The ideal person will have at least 3 years banqueting operations experience with two years at a supervisory level. You will have the ability to organise work schedules and develop inter-departmental/ inter-personal communications skills between staff and guests.

Initiative, calmness (even in stressful situations), tact, honesty and flexibility are all prerequisites for this position. If you are organised, with strong time management and commination skills, with understanding of events planning, give us a BUZZ!
