Job Description

We've been BUZZed to assist The Distinction Christchurch Hotel, put together a BUZZing team, ready for the busy season. This 179 rooms, 4.5 stars hotel is situated in the heart of the city and has an amazing senior management team leading from the front. As the busy season is just around the corner, we are looking to add a Conference and Events Coordinator...BUZZing???

A newly created position for our team, if you have the ideal blend of Food and Beverage Service and Administration background with the passion to be the best we are looking for you.  A highly organised individual responsible for handling enquires, bookings and contracts for meetings, events, social functions and conferences. 

Working with our guests and team to make the occasion memorable for all the right reasons.  If you are organised, with strong time management and commination skills, with understanding of events planning, give us a BUZZ

Predominantly Monday – Friday, there will be times where you will be required to on evenings, weekends and early morning to assist with the operations and guest experience. Microsoft Office suite, Conference systems or hotel PMS experience and previous F&B Service (conferencing an advantage) are essential.
