At the heart of a rapidly growing community, the Pantry is set to become Lincoln’s go-to destination for casual café dining, delivering delicious and nutritious breakfasts, brunches and lunches, with a great range of options also for those following gluten-free, vegan and/or keto diets. Further expansion into event catering is also in the pipeline.
With an already established clientele, The Pantry is now seeking an experienced pair of hands to take the menu offering to the next level. Reporting directly to the owners, the ideal candidate will have solid experience of short order cooking and cabinet food preparation, along with sound knowledge of costing and food control plan management. A knowledge of/interest in gluten-free, vegan and raw food would be useful, though not essential.
The owners are committed to zero waste principles and seek to minimise waste at all levels of the business so a pro-active approach on sustainability is expected. Great communication skills, adaptability and reliability are essential attributes for this role, as is the ability to work well within a small and tight-knit team who are all passionate about great food and community connection.
Shifts will start early to ensure the cabinet is looking its best by opening time at 8am, so we’re looking for someone with a love of early mornings! We offer a competitive hourly rate, with no parking issues.
