We have been BUZZed and currently looking for an experienced Banquets Sous Chef to assist in the running of the hotel kitchen. Our BUZZing tour & conferencing season is just around the corner so we seek a highly organised and committed career professional with exposure to banqueting looking to join a BUZZing team... With a reputation for excellence so you will be working with the freshest ingredients to produce meals fit for royalty. As Banquets Senior Sous Chef you will be required to lead, manage and motivate your team to provide exceptional food. The hotel does some big numbers and you will be in charge of the buffet and banqueting department.
You will also be required to oversee the day to day running of the kitchen including stock control, staff rosters and cleaning schedules in the Executive Chefs absences. A solid employment history including commitment to your previous employers is essential.
This will be a 7-8 month contract, with the hourly rate of $28 per hour. You will also get a $2000 no questions asked bonus in completion of the contract!
Sponsorship is not available however those on open work permits and working holiday visas are welcome to apply, providing you can work until end of April 2020
