Job Description

Are you looking for a position where you get heaps of variety? What about something where you don't have the docket machine screaming at you all day? Are you a Chef that just gets on with the task at hand, smashes out quality food and wants to get paid a decent wage for doing so? Maybe we have the job to get you BUZZing!

Ranging from weddings, corporate events, cocktail functions, and gala dinners, there is plenty of variety. Based at the Christchurch centralised kitchen, part of you day will be preparing for the array of event on any given day, the rest of the time you will be plating up for the guests. Those that get bored in a small kitchen environment, this is the job for you get to go to lots of different sites, locations and get paid to do so!

This is not your 9-5 role, with most of the events happening in the evenings and weekends so consider this before applying. The ideal candidate will be a prep weapon the kitchen, have the ability to handle bulk cooking and come from a catering /conference or bulk cooking environment. 

Position starts September and will run until end April 2020. If you are looking for a full time position, we can also discuss this option. Those of working holiday visas are welcome to apply but you must commit for the entire contract.
