Ben is a foundation member of BUZZ and now a Director.
Ben has consistently been the top performing Hospitality, Tourism and Travel recruiter in New Zealand and has worked with some of the countries top establishments.
Ben studied at the Sir George Seymour Travel & Tourism College and has worked solely in Hospitality and Travel most recently managing one of Christchurch’s top restaurants.
Like the other BUZZ Directors Ben has spent time living and working overseas. Ben found his calling for recruitment working for years in the competitive UK market.
An out of the box recruiting innovator, Ben is known for his working relationships with leadership and his experience in niche searches.

David Thompson
General Manager - Lower North Island
Hospitality & Tourism | Travel
David is the latest team member to join BUZZ and will head up the Hospitality, Tourism and Travel sectors for the Lower North Island.
Graduating from the prestigious Australian hospitality institute: BMIHMS, David holds multiple diplomas in hotel management.
An 18 year veteran in the Hospitalty & Tourism industries. David has held senior management and General Management positions with major hotel groups on both sides of the Tasman and has owned and run his own successful restaurant.
David brings an arsenal of knowledge and experience, not to mention a large network of industry contacts to BUZZ. He understands the contrasting styles of management required in the various disciplines of this dynamic industry which gives him an edge when understanding the needs & wants of the recruiting owner or manager.
With David and the Christchurch BUZZ team, recruiting for the hospitality industry of New Zealand has never looked better.
